Button problem

Knitting is done. Just one band to go. Which brings me to a problem.... buttons. Should I go with matching white ones (which I still have to find) or should I go with these not yet finished polymer clay ones.
I'm tempted. I made them last night, they still need to be polished from my fingerprints and covered with some gloss varnish.
Hmm... do polymer clay buttons break easily? Opinions please, ladies...

I don't know about the strength of clay buttons, but those look great! I would choose them over matching anyday. My Forecast is bright green and I plan on using orange buttons..

Pretty. Polymer clay like fimo?
It depends how thick they are. If they're thin and a bit bendy, they might break, but if they're chunky enough they should be OK. I've got a cardigan I made a couple of years ago with fimo buttons and they're still find. I do take them off to wash it though, just in case.

I love the polymer clay buttons. Who wants matching buttons on their handknit cardigan? ;) If they do break, you can always make new ones.

I love your buttons! They are very pretty colors. They would look good on your sweater.
